Three tools, one popup

Each tab does one thing well. No setup, no sign-in, no friction.

Type any US dividend stock and instantly see its forward yield, next ex-dividend date, payment frequency, recent payments, payout ratio, and 5-year average yield. No browser tab switching.

1

Install in one click

Visit the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome." Free, no account needed, no payment info. Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, or any Chromium-based browser.

2

Click the toolbar icon

The MerryDiv icon sits next to your address bar. Click it and the popup opens with three tabs: Lookup, Ex-Dates, Calculator. Everything is one click away.

3

Pin it for instant access

Click the Chrome puzzle-piece menu and pin the MerryDiv icon so it's always visible. From there, dividend data is one tap away while you research stocks.

No tracking, no ads

The extension doesn't watch what you do online and we don't share your activity with anyone. Your ticker searches stay between you and us.

Stays out of your browser

It can't see your other tabs, your history, your bookmarks, or anything you type elsewhere. It only does one thing: show dividend data when you click the icon.

Track your real dividends, not just public data

The extension shows public data — yields, ex-dates, what-if math. The full MerryDiv app connects directly to your brokerage accounts via Plaid (12,000+ supported institutions including Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Vanguard, and Robinhood) and tracks your actual dividend income — every payment, across every account, automatically. Free plan available.

Frequently asked questions

It's a free Chrome extension that puts three small dividend tools in your browser toolbar: a ticker lookup for any US dividend stock, an upcoming ex-dividend calendar, and a yield-to-income calculator. No account required, no ads, no tracking.
No. The extension uses only public dividend data and works without sign-in. If you have a MerryDiv account, the extension links straight into your dashboard — but it's not required.
Yes. The extension is 100% free and always will be. No ads, no upsell modals, no "pro version." The full MerryDiv app has a free plan too, with paid tiers if you want more accounts or longer history.
Install the MerryDiv Dividend Toolkit and click the Ex-Dates tab. You'll see every US dividend stock going ex-dividend today, this week, or in the next 30 days — sorted by yield. Perfect for spotting the dividend capture window or just staying on top of your watchlist.
The Calculator tab takes a ticker and an investment amount and shows you the annual, monthly, and per-quarter dividend income based on that stock's current forward yield. For deeper scenarios (yield growth, reinvestment over 10+ years), the extension deep-links to MerryDiv's full dividend income calculator.
Any US-listed dividend-paying stock, ETF, or REIT with a market cap of $2B+ — that's thousands of tickers including all the popular dividend names (KO, JNJ, O, MSFT, AAPL, VYM, SCHD, etc.). The extension uses the same data quality gate as MerryDiv's stock pages, so you won't see micro-cap zombies or defunct tickers in the ex-dividend calendar.
There's nothing for it to leak. The extension can't see your browsing history, other tabs, or anything you type into other sites. It doesn't ask you to sign in. The only thing it remembers between popup opens is the last ticker you searched, kept on your own machine. The only thing it ever sends out is a request for dividend data on whatever ticker you're looking at.
Yes — anywhere Chromium-based extensions work. That covers Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and Vivaldi. Firefox and Safari support would require a separate build (let us know if you'd use it).
Two different jobs. The MerryDiv app connects to your brokerage accounts and tracks your actual dividend income — every payment, across every account. The extension is for quick public-data lookups while you're browsing — checking a stock's yield before researching it, glancing at this week's ex-dates, modeling a "what if I invested $X" scenario without logging in.

Install the extension, sign up for the app

Use the extension for quick lookups while you research. Use MerryDiv to actually track your dividend income. Both are free to start.
